My first visit to this salon, and Stylist Alex did great! I asked for layers and a short trim, and got exactly what I wanted, if not better. The staff were friendly and approachable. A very pleasant experience. I would recommend!
This was our first visit here, and we were attended to by Alex! We had a simple wash, cut, and blow, and I must say it was a great session! Alex was meticulous in understanding the style I wanted and executed it better than I expected! Thank you, Alex! We will come again!
Thanks so much Alex and team for your professionalism, patience, and dedication in providing the best service to me! Great highlights and haircut that have lasted me since January. Iβm always impressed each time I come back for my usual haircuts and hairwash. I also recommend their service to my family and friends!
Service was great. I got a wash and cut. At this salon, they cut your hair dry first, which, to be honest, stresses me out, but the wash afterward was so nice! My stylist gave such a good head massage I almost fell asleep. The price was very reasonable as well. I'll definitely come back.
Here's the lightly edited review:
Extremely satisfied with the excellent service!
I walked in for a double bleach treatment, and it was completed within 3.5 hours. No fuss; the very friendly Alex served me, and my hair is now smooth and white and ready for colouring!
Thank you, Alex!ππ»
Highly recommend this studio if you are new to Tengah and are looking for a new haircare salon to replace your previous one :)

Hey, we're back here again at Ron Sheng Fish Soup at Plantation Plaza! Last time, when they first opened, the wait was crazy β almost an hour! But the food was awesome. I saw online that they fixed the wait times, and this time it was only 12 minutes β totally fine. The food was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

45 minutes, and still no food! Some of those who arrived earlier had also not been served yet.
After 55 minutes, the food came. It was delicious. I would return if they sort out the teething issues.
Ordered double fish (fried and batang), tomyam, with added noodles and egg, and the biggest size.
It tasted great. The batang was a bit too soft, but the fried fish (dory) was not bad. The tomyam soup was really good, not salty at all. If you have a small appetite, don't upsize; the portion is really very big.
Atmosphere: The tables are too close to each other.
Not sure if this is related to Yuhua Village's Ron Sheng (Michelin Plate). Had batang fish porridge ($7.80) and Red Grouper soup with rice ($12.80). Ordered extra egg and vegetables, but didn't notice a difference in the vegetable quantity. The batang porridge was good, but the Red Grouper meat was too soft and had a "powdery" feel. Food was served to the table, but cutlery and condiments were self-service. The comforting thing was the setting: air conditioning and ample seats (with limited outdoor seats available).
Both the plain and Tom Yum soup bases were great. The Tom Yum soup stands out as itβs different from the typical food court and hawker versions that rely on paste. It has additional ingredients like lime and lemongrass that add depth to the flavour. The hand-torn mee hoon kueh is one of my favourite noodle choices. I also like the variety of fish options, including batang, red grouper, and fried fish. The garlic chilli is excellent too. I only waited around 10 minutes despite the store being full.
