Good dish served in a claypot. Sesame chicken is nice. The Mala lotus roots with prawns were not good. The lotus root was dark in color, as if it had already oxidized. The prawns were hard, like leftovers from last night. Too spicy for me. The herbal sliced fish had a mild taste, but it was okay for me. The veggies were fine too. Overall, I would revisit, but skip the Mala.

Quite impressed with the food quality. The food was steaming hot and made with fresh ingredients. The pork liver was cooked just right. The soup was flavourful and brought boiling hot to the table. We managed to finish it all! We also signed up as members for a free drink.

Delicious! $31.80 1. Joining as a member gets a free drink. 2. Love the sesame oil chicken; it's very fragrant. 3. Collagen yong tau foo and eggplant are okay. 4. Love the hard rice.

Lau Wang Claypot at Tengah Plantation Plaza is a great spot for Tengah residents. The sesame chicken is consistently delicious: flavourful, tender, and perfectly cooked. The dishes are served piping hot and packed with rich, comforting flavours. Service is quick and friendly too. Definitely a solid choice for anyone craving a hearty, satisfying meal.

Here's the edited review: "This is the go-to meal for my husband and me whenever we eat out at Tengah Plantation Plaza! Nothing beats a heart- and tummy-warming claypot dish when we are hungry. Strongly recommend the sesame chicken and sambal lady finger — lip-smacking good. Plus, the staff and service are excellent — very friendly and fast to serve. We've patronized them many times."

Saw the crowd and went in. Claypot Sesame Oil Chicken is good. The portion is big for the price. Fast and friendly service.

Here's the edited review: I got the peanut butter set, and I liked the cold butter that came with it. The bread was well-toasted. The eggs were as big as Yakun's. I got an iced Kopi o kosong, which I guess needs no introduction if you're a patron of this brand. It was a little bitter, a taste I enjoy. I came on a Saturday morning, and there were some seats available. I got my food within 10 minutes upon ordering. Price-point wise, I think it's quite similar to Yakun, but definitely less than Toast Box.

An all-time favorite, and I no longer need to go far to drink their kopi. I believe this is their first branch in the west area and in the new Tengah estate. Today marks my 5th visit to this Tengah branch. I had a not-so-good experience on my previous visit, after observing other tables and providing feedback to their team regarding their crispy roti problem. Today, I visited again, and the roti is back to being crispy! Keep it up! Today, I ordered their Laksa and Minced Meat Noodles; both were delicious. The Laksa is not very spicy and lemak enough, making it potentially child-friendly. Portion sizes are just right for us. The kopi and food are served piping hot. The air-conditioned environment and helpful, friendly staff are great. Hope they keep it up always!

Ordered chicken rice and minced meat noodles. Both were acceptable. The chicken tasted super good. But if the chicken rice could come with soup, that would be perfect. The iced coffee was the best.

Found a nice local cafe in the new Tengah Plantation Plaza. The place is clean, and the tables are new (since they just opened). Ordered laksa, bak chor mee, earl grey milk toast, and nanyang mocha. They had some interesting items on the menu, like smoked duck lor mee, handmade noodles for all their noodle dishes, and matcha/earl grey milk toast.
