Dengue Advisory: Check myENV App for Aedes Mosquito Hotspots in Singapore
A higher mosquito population means a higher dengue risk, but even areas with low risk are not risk-free. Residents are advised to make a habit of checking the myENV app for areas with higher Aedes mosquito activity, similar to checking the weather before heading out.
Based on the latest Aedes surveillance data from March 2026, areas with higher Aedes mosquito activity include Ang Mo Kio, Bedang, Bishan, Changi, East Coast, Jurong East, Kallang, Pasir Ris, Tampines, Tey Hock, and Woodlands. The data is presented via the myENV app, the National Environment Agency's digital platform.
For those in or near these areas, the advisory recommends practising the S-A-W approach. Spray insecticide in dark corners around the house, apply repellent regularly to reduce bites, and wear long sleeves and pants to create a physical barrier against mosquitoes.
