The two ladies at reception are the most friendly and welcoming nurses I've ever experienced. They are soft-spoken and calming, which is really important when you are sick and feeling unwell. One lady went out of her way to let me know my medication was ready while I waited outside the clinic. During my visit, there was a Mandarin-speaking couple. The staff were also very nice to them, even though they couldn't communicate in Mandarin. Dr. Tan is efficient and clear in explaining the cause of sickness and providing instructions.

The clinic is new and clean, and it is also very convenient as it is located on Level 2 of Canberra Plaza. However, the consultation experience was poor. Firstly, I requested the doctor to speak Mandarin, but he gave me a displeased look. Secondly, the doctor requested me to go for a swab test the next morning, which I rejected. However, he still submitted an appointment time for the swab test for 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM but did not tell me. Thirdly, when I asked about the venue for the swab test, he refused to tell me, only mentioning it was "not too far" and a "convenient place." This was despite him knowing the venue, as he was the one who submitted the time and venue for the swab test. It was only after my consultation with the doctor, when I collected my medicine at the reception counter, that I learned the time (which was for the morning) and the venue. Overall, this will be my first and last time visiting this clinic. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

The doctor has no respect for patients. The clinic is so bad.

Went there with my 2-year-old child and was told to go to KKH for a chest X-ray immediately. (We visited the Viva clinic in the evening between 6-8pm.) The doctor said he was not specialised in this area, and vibration in the chest may mean a serious condition. However, it turned out there was nothing wrong with his chest after the immediate visit to KKH on the same evening. It was diagnosed as just a common flu with phlegm. However, we were grateful for the doctor's professional urgency regarding young toddlers' conditions and for not hastily prescribing medications. But because of the unnecessary visit to KKH (which usually involves a 3- to 6-hour wait), it would have been wiser for us to have visited a pediatrician or other more experienced GPs. Therefore, I suggest visiting this Viva clinic with older kids and adults only. It is not suitable for very young toddlers.

I can never get through by phone, but Dr. Ivan is a very good doctor. He made a correct diagnosis regarding my wife's condition when other doctors disregarded it. The prescribed medication healed the problem.

Charges are very expensive, yet the handling is inexperienced. Suggest going to other clinics and don't waste your money here. They are here to chop you.

Worst experience ever. Don't come here (Canberra Plaza outlet). The front desk was super rude (a middle-aged woman with highlighted curly hair). I’m a Singaporean who was bringing my Malaysian cousin here to get her vaccination done. We walked into the clinic and told her about our situation. As my cousin wasn’t fluent in English, I asked her whether she was able to communicate with us in Chinese, and she replied, “Inside that one (the doctor) can speak Chinese” (in English). I then asked her again whether or not she could speak to us in Chinese, and she replied, “Can ah?” (in Chinese). She continued the conversation and asked for my cousin’s FIN no. and what not. She probably thought that I couldn’t understand English and mumbled pretty loudly, “All these foreigners…” (sigh). As a Singaporean with a Malaysian family, I don’t think us “FOREIGNERS” should be looked down upon at all. We were even speaking very politely to her, and she gave us that response? Very much disappointed.

Very bad experience. The telephone line was always unreachable. Two nurses were sitting at the desk, and when I called, the phone just rang; the two nurses never picked it up. When I came in and asked why they never picked up the phone, they said they were busy with swapping patients and cleaning. Worst of all, as other reviews mention, the doctor keeps changing. One visit was charged at a high rate by an unknown doctor (not the flu subsidized rate by the government) without examining the patient. The day before, we had just gone for the same flu reason! The reason given was also due to sensitivity in the nose, so it did not fall under flu/cough. Avoid at all costs.

Very bad experience. It's true, the doctors kept changing, and the care was not consistent. I had a torn ligament in my left shoulder when I was seen in A&E; however, one of the older doctors mentioned it was stomach flu/pain. What even?! There are more stories from when I returned. Not a pleasant visit!

Poor and rude service was provided by the staff when making payment at the Tampines Street 42 branch clinic. Poor service was also provided by the locum doctors when compared to Dr. Vincent or Ivan, who really listen to their patients' feedback.
