Dr Ivan was professional and answered my questions patiently. He was understanding of my severe sore throat issue and gave advice as well. The price was very reasonable, too. I don't understand why another past reviewer said that this clinic is "out to chop you."

Doctor Tan was detailed in his explanation; however, clinic staff were distracted by the payment. One of them claimed to have explained about the medication when clearly she only explained about the product I'm purchasing. When I asked about the medication, she insisted she had explained instead of just explaining. It was a turn-off, so I walked away, and she followed me, trying to explain herself. Nevertheless, they are not rude people. Thus, three stars.

On April 20, when I came into the clinic, I noticed that the staff kept shaking her head and sighing because I saw there was a lineup. I informed the staff that I came to see the doctor because I had a fever and wanted to take an MC. The staff then responded, β€œSo, you want to take an MC, lah?” I said, β€œLet the doctor check first.” After I went in, the doctor said, β€œDon’t ask my staff to give you an MC.” I was like, β€œ?????” Was it my fault because I didn’t know how clinics work?

The nurse was rude when I requested a stool because the air conditioning in the clinic was too cold for a sick child. She rudely brought a stool, saying it was her personal stool and that it was okay for her to stand while working. I saw four stools stacked up next to her, yet she claimed they did not have extra stools. Clearly, she has no empathy for unwell patients. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

Here's the lightly edited review: "I was looking for a clinic near my place and happened to stumble upon Viva. Everyone from the clinical assistants to the doctors was very nice to me. I didn't get their names, but the clinical assistant with a hijab and red hair is super warm and friendly! Dr. Ivan Tan is super nice and took his time to go over my concerns without passing judgment or rushing me. A lot of doctors elsewhere don't do this, and they often don't think your concerns are valid, but the doctors here really go over your symptoms and take you seriously! The female doctor here is also good. Well done, Viva!"

This is my second visit, and both the front desk and doctor were friendly on both visits. And yes, Doctor Wong was listening well to our concerns, unlike other doctors elsewhere. It wasn't because it was rush hour, as I went during both rush and non-rush hour times; they were all still very approachable and friendly. πŸ‘πŸ»

I almost always have a bad experience whenever I come to this clinic. However, sometimes I have no choice because other clinics are closed. During my recent visit, the male doctor sounded very arrogant. I was halfway through describing my symptoms when he cut me off and sounded condescending. For context: I told him my oesophagus hurt, but he cut me off with an irritated voice and said, "Don't say oesophagus, because you don't know which part is painful. Just say chest pain etc." The funny thing is, in the end, he said it was likely due to gastric issues, so I was right. It couldn't have been my trachea hurting, lol, and besides, I know my body better. Worst doctor I've ever met. πŸ™„

Today's visit to the doctor turned out to be incredibly expensive. I have been there many times, but I was quite disappointed today. Upon receiving the bill for two medications and the consultation fees, I realized one of the medicines was unnecessary and requested its removal. However, I was surprised to learn from the nurse that even after removing the medicine, the total bill remained the same due to included GST and a minimum charge. I find this situation utterly ridiculous, especially since I received medication I didn't require. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I won't be returning to this facility.

I went to see a doctor for a sore throat. I walked in around 8 PM and asked if they were open. They said yes, but my mask was damaged. The receptionist/nurses on the night shift were so nice, helpful, and polite. They went the extra mile and provided me with a free mask when I asked if they could give me one before I entered the clinic! I am so happy and grateful for such a kind gesture; they did not stop me from walking in to see the doctor. I am really very thankful to the night shift nurses working on August 2nd, 2023, at 8 PM. I didn't manage to get both ladies' names, but thank you so much for letting me in and going the extra mile by providing me with a free mask before I entered the clinic to see the doctor. Next time, I will bring an extra mask. Dr. Ivan is a very professional, neat, and clean doctor. He is very patient and listens well to patients; I felt well taken care of. Thank you to the nurses, receptionist, and doctor! I had a very good first-time walk-in experience with this clinic and will visit again if needed. :)

Worst clinic I have been to. When I was sick, the doctor claimed it was just a normal cough and flu. I went to see the doctor at 9+ am. The doctor gave me only one day of MC, stating I was only feeling feverish with a viral cough and flu, and prescribed only cough and flu medicine, advising me to just rest at home. By 4 pm, I was having a fever of 37.9, and by 6 pm, my temperature had risen to 39.6. Now I had to go back to the clinic. I called their phone 4 times, but no one answered from 6:20 pm onwards. They said it was a must to take an ART test. I did not go back to the same clinic, as I believe they treat patients differently, especially when it's your company doctor, paying $5 for a $5 treatment. I went to another clinic, and the doctor prescribed me stronger medicine and gave me antibiotics. Just choose your doctor wisely, especially when you are really sick. Not everyone is just there for the MC!
