Very nice fish soup, and the garlic chilli goes very well with the fish. In fact, I'm quite puzzled why it has such a low rating on Google. This will be my go-to place in the West if I'm craving fish soup.

Updated review on: January 12, 2025 Hey, we're back here again at Ron Sheng Fish Soup at Plantation Plaza! Last time, when they first opened, the wait was crazy – almost an hour! But the food was awesome. I saw online that they fixed the wait times, and this time it was only 12 minutes – totally fine. The food was amazing. We'll definitely be back! --- Initial review on: December 29, 2024 45 minutes, and still no food! Some of those who arrived earlier had also not been served yet. After 55 minutes, the food came. It was delicious. I would return if they sort out the teething issues.

Ordered double fish (fried and batang), tomyam, with added noodles and egg, and the biggest size. It tasted great. The batang was a bit too soft, but the fried fish (dory) was not bad. The tomyam soup was really good, not salty at all. If you have a small appetite, don't upsize; the portion is really very big. Atmosphere: The tables are too close to each other.

Not sure if this is related to Yuhua Village's Ron Sheng (Michelin Plate). Had batang fish porridge ($7.80) and Red Grouper soup with rice ($12.80). Ordered extra egg and vegetables, but didn't notice a difference in the vegetable quantity. The batang porridge was good, but the Red Grouper meat was too soft and had a "powdery" feel. Food was served to the table, but cutlery and condiments were self-service. The comforting thing was the setting: air conditioning and ample seats (with limited outdoor seats available).

I ordered the Batang sliced fish soup. Broth was delicious, fish was tender. However, the waiting time was very long. We had to wait 35 minutes for our order during dinner time. To be fair, I am someone who does not queue for food, so this was a sore point for me. Maybe 15 minutes would have been acceptable, but 35 was too long.

Waited a little longer than other outlets, but it was worth it. It's the best fried chicken compared to other outlets in SG. Chicken was piping hot and tasted juicy and crispy!

It's a big place. It has relaxing, classic music. It can hold big groups. There aren't many people; still, not many people are moving into the area yet. It has 3 kiosks.

Threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my fiance at KFC Tengah, and we had such an enjoyable time! The KFC Team did a superb job setting up the party room, conducting the party activities, and serving us the food orders promptly. The team was also very understanding and patient with us, a very chaotic group of 18 people. KFC Managers Cath & Doreen were energetic, professional, and fun throughout. Will definitely recommend having your party here! :) PS: We added on our own decor (photos on table and "30" balloons)

A birthday party was hosted at KFC Tengah for the kids. It was fun, well-maintained, and had prompt serving of orders. Cath and her team were nice and understanding hosts, with great communication. Cheers!
