I ordered a takeaway hot dessert (No. 520), but the dine-in customer after me received their dessert first (No. 521). The staff were already slow and still failed to follow the queue order. After that, the staff began preparing my order, and my dessert still needed additional microwave heating time.
Amazing coconut pudding that's not too sweet, which addresses my qualm with most dessert stalls in SG. The pudding tasted really fresh!
Friendly staff as well.
I usually don't eat coconut dessert, but this is one of the best and most delightful desserts I have ever tried. The atmosphere has a Peranakan feel. It is a very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy dessert.
We ordered Coconut Snowy Ice Base and Sweet Potato Orh Nee Paste (Cold). The taste was pretty good, and the paste quite thick. Just the portion (orh nee) was a bit small for me.
Ordered from Grab.
The price excludes sauce.
The base is fixed as well — like a milky snow ice.
I chose Gula Melaka Sago, coconut meat, and Biscoff.
Coconut meat turns a little tough when in contact with ice.
Takeaway is not advised by the crew and is not supported by the brand. They cited that this is because they do not have suitable takeaway containers for this dessert, and it melts very quickly. If we insisted on takeaway, we could bring our own container, as the dessert cannot fit into their standard takeaway containers.
The price I paid was reasonable; however, not many toppings matched the base well in my opinion.
Note: The menu has changed from what was reviewed earlier.
We had two desserts thanks to the ongoing 1-for-1 deal. The coconut-flavored snowy ice maintained its quality, even with the promotion. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and service was speedy. Seating is quite limited, perhaps due to the shop's rising popularity. Patience will reward you with a table within 5 minutes. I will come back regularly!
A cozy area to relax at lunchtime; it was not crowded.
I ordered the coconut bobochacha tang shui. The picture on the order machine looked good, but in reality, I was amazed by the portion served. It looked totally different.
My hubby ordered the gula melaka coconut caffe latte. From the menu, it seemed like a hot drink, but it was chilled.
