Commemorating the Lunar New Year with Sustainable Traditions
The Lunar New Year is a season defined by joy, fortune, and the exchange of well-wishes. As we celebrate these cherished traditions, we are proud to partner with Geneco to introduce a meaningful way to extend those blessings to the environment. Our Red Packet Recycling Program invites the community to give new life to festive materials, turning today’s luck into a sustainable legacy for future generations.
How You Can Participate
Participating in this initiative is a simple yet impactful way to contribute to a zero-waste lifestyle. To join the movement, start by collecting your unused or old red packets from past and present celebrations. Before heading to the collection point, please ensure that any non-paper elements, such as decorative ribbons or plastic trimmings, are removed so the paper can be processed effectively. Once prepared, simply drop them into the dedicated blue recycling bin.
Location and Timeline
The recycling program will be active from January 16 through March 31, 2026, providing ample time to clear out your festive stationery after the holiday season. You can find the collection bin at Plantation Plaza, located at the Level 2 Redemption Counter directly outside Skechers.
Powering the Change Together
Every small action contributes to a larger shift toward environmental stewardship. By choosing to recycle your red packets, you are helping to nurture a brighter and more beautiful world. We look forward to seeing the community come together at Plantation Plaza to reduce waste and make sustainability a core part of our seasonal traditions.
