Beijing Language School 2026 December Holiday Programme at Plantation Plaza
Beijing Language School (北京语文学校) has opened registration for its 2026 December Holiday Programme, running from 24 November to 18 December 2026, Tuesday to Friday. The programme offers Speech & Drama (N1,K2), Chinese Holiday Programme (P1,P6), Creative Writing (S1,S4), Chinese Calligraphy & Ink Painting, and Hanyu Pinyin for Beginners. Existing students who sign up for 10 lessons or more enjoy 10% off school course fees, with terms and conditions applying.
Chinese Calligraphy & Ink Painting
The Chinese Calligraphy & Ink Painting course runs from 24 November 2026 to 12 January 2027, Tuesday to Friday, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Students complete at least one artwork per session, learning to draw bamboo, panda, goldfish, prawn, crab, animals, fruit, landscapes, flowers and birds, with artwork formats including a palace fan and umbrella. The course covers brushstroke fundamentals, practice in Kai Shu, and Chinese character structure. The course fee is SGD 55 per lesson, with a SGD 5 material fee.
Speech & Drama (N1,K2)
The Speech & Drama class (儿童演艺班) runs from 24 November to 18 December 2026, Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, for children in N1,K2. Activities include story telling, role playing, art and craft, reading of poems, dancing and singing. The fee is SGD 50 per lesson, with a SGD 5 charge for the final lesson that includes breakfast and costume fees. A performance event is scheduled for 18 December 2026 (Friday).
Secondary Creative Writing (S1,S4)
The Secondary Creative Writing class (中学假期写作班) runs from 24 November to 18 December 2026, Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, for S1,S4 and S1H,S4H students. The course covers email writing, forum writing, narrative essay and argumentative essay. The fee is SGD 60 per lesson.
Hanyu Pinyin for Beginners
The 2026 Han Yu Pin Yin course runs from 24 November to 18 December 2026, Tuesday to Friday, from 10:30am to 12:00pm, for 16 lessons. The course strengthens students’ mastery of phonics techniques, covering the four intonations and vowel and consonant sounds. The course fee is SGD 640 for 16 lessons, with a SGD 20 material fee.
Chinese Holiday Programme (P1,P6)
The Chinese Holiday Programme (12月假期小学课程) runs from 24 November to 18 December 2026, Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The schedule rotates through oral, comprehension and composition lessons each week. Course fees are SGD 55 per lesson for P1,P4 and SGD 57 per lesson for P5,P6.
