It's good only when you forget to buy an item or two from other places, and this NTUC can be a backup. It's bad when you really want to go grocery shopping, and they only have a limited selection. It's worst when you go at 8:30 AM, or even just in the morning, as many items are out of stock or pending restock. Sometimes, items take a few days to be restocked; it's as if they don't bother to keep up with their inventory, and items are always out of stock for three days before they are restocked. I've encountered this many times already, and it always feels like a wasted trip.
On the brighter side, there are ATMs inside, and you can also buy Toto/4D. It's also nearer to walk from my place than to Sheng Siong, which is a bit further but stocks a lot more items.

The staff is so unfriendly, unhelpful, and unreasonable at the self-checkout counter! They refused to help and refused to let me go over to the cashier! They need to understand that not every customer is familiar with how their self-checkout system works!

Came across a staff member named Indrani on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 7:30 PM, who was very unfriendly and pulling a long face when we approached the self-checkout counter. The machine stopped halfway and prompted for assistance, and when I approached her, she came unwillingly to tap it to proceed. I asked if I should weigh the apples. She did not reply or acknowledge me at all but simply walked away and came back with the price sticker, which she handed over to me with a sullen expression. Come on, we don't want this kind of attitude. This is the first time I've encountered such a rude NTUC staff member!

If you’re looking for a wider range of products and brands, this NTUC FairPrice outlet might not be the best for you.
Nonetheless, it provides sufficient quality products for the neighbourhood in Canberra, including fresh vegetables, meat, frozen foods, seafood, and more.
They also have OCBC and DBS/POSB ATMs inside if you require simple banking facilities.
A good point is that it’s on the same level as the car park, so after groceries, you can simply walk to your lot and load up your stuff.

I'm very satisfied with your cashier, Indrani. She's helpful and friendly. She approached me spontaneously when I was trying to use the "Scan N Go" machine. Thank you!
