It's been a long time since I've had A&W, and it's been years since it returned to Singapore. The taste is still great, and it brings a nostalgic feeling from my childhood in the 80s and 90s. The branch at Canberra Plaza is large, with self-service kiosks. The tray serving and return area is on the opposite side of the branch, which I think is a very good move for hygiene. The price is fair, and I highly recommend their chicken and beef burgers; they're definitely better than the usual "M" brand. P.S. Did you know A&W was actually the first American fast-food brand in Singapore, established back in the 60s?

I really wanted to like this place, but there's just nothing special about it. The wait time is huge, around 40 minutes even during off-peak hours. The burgers are very dry and simple. The curly fries are okay. The only good thing was the root beer float, but I don't think it was worth the visit. There are so many burger places in Singapore; this one is avoidable.

Good food, conveniently located on level 1 opposite the MRT. I had the mozza burger, fried chicken, and cheeseburger. The mozza burger is awesome, with a great portion and lots of vegetables. The fried chicken is a little salty, but overall very tasty and yummy. The best part is that curly fries are served, along with a huge root beer float. The mug is satisfying to drink from. Service is decent. At an estimated $10 per person, it's alright. The standards are above McDonald's and slightly below Shake Shack. I will return.

It's good to see A&W coming back to the Singapore market. It's a nostalgic childhood fast-food place that I grew up with. The interior design is welcoming, with a spacious and family-friendly layout. The staff is friendly and attentive. I love their root beer.

Ordered the beef coney dog combo, and it was disappointing. The hot dog wasn't snappy, and the topping was cold. Even the curly fries were cold when served. Only the root beer was good.

Root beer is so nice. The burger is good. The food and drink collections are at two separate counters. You have to collect your food opposite the shop, and to collect your drink, you have to pass the receipt to the counter staff inside the shop.

This A&W outlet opens slightly later than the others, so we drove over since we were craving some American fast food! Ordering and payment were easy using the self-service kiosk, and the food was prepared quickly. And most importantly, it was yummy! πŸ˜‹

Here's the edited review: "Typical A&W food. The environment is spacious, and I enjoyed my double fish burger."

The Cream Cheese Beef Burger πŸ” was delicious 🀀. The beef patty was juicy and tender, with a generous amount of cream cheese and lots of caramelized onions πŸ§…. My order was served in less than 5 minutes after I placed it via the kiosk, and I was very impressed with their speed. However, none of the staff smiled when I interacted with them; they were all expressionless. It doesn’t cost anything to smile at customers when serving them.
